@meetatmanos

Hi! I’m Caitlin owner of Mano’s event space. I love all things hosting and find such joy in watching this space be filled with creativity, connection and community. Here at Mano’s we strive to create events and experiences that are memorable and community focused. I love being the medium for such amazing moments and events happening right here in downtown Springdale. We are entering year two of operating this beautiful historic building as an event venue and I can’t wait to see how much it grows. Thank you for being a part of this space and journey!

Featured chef: Tommy O’Connor

@tommyoconnor

Tommy, born in Washington state and raised in Texas, found his way to Arkansas in 2015. Growing up in a large family, his passion for food sprung from the dinner table where he and his family would connect each night over a meal prepared by his mom. Soon after arriving in Arkansas, he enrolled in culinary school at Brightwater. While in school, he worked at The Preacher’s Son under Chef Matthew Cooper, where he gained insight into the importance of relationships between small farms and restaurants, and the necessity of local food systems. He then went to work for Rafael Rios at Yeyos, getting a glimpse into the world of Mexican cuisine. After finishing school, he spent some time in Arizona to work with chef Scott Winegard, learning vegetable forward cooking. Once back in Arkansas, he started working as Sous Chef at Heirloom at the 1907 with Chef Jason Paul and Danielle Ribaudo, where his love for hospitality and service grew exponentially. He then went on to Copenhagen to intern at the restaurant Kadeau, where he gained an introduction to new nordic cuisine and preservation. Tommy enjoys cooking seasonal, simple food, presented in a mindful way. He continues to look forward to new experiences, opportunities, and ongoing learning.

@magnoliamadeart

I’ve been planting my roots in NWA since 2008 and have admired the flourishing growth in community more & more each year. Whether I’m tending to my own gardens or visiting the local farmers markets, I love slow intentional living. I like to bring pops of color to my art, and find the glimmers life has to offer.

Featured florist: Sojourn & Abide

@sojourn_abide

My name is Arianna & I am the owner & lead designer of @sojourn_abide. In 2019 moved to NWA & dove head first into the wedding industry. With almost 10 years of experience in the hospitality world the transition was easy. and I fell in love. But mainly with flowers. Over the last 5 years I have freelanced with so many amazing floral designers in the area and have learned everything I know from these amazing women! Fast forward & here we are! My very own floral business, where I get to put my art into the world! I love what I get to do & I am so thankful to everyone who has supported this journey.

Featured Artist: Sam Farnsworth

@fearlessly.sam

Sam Farnsworth has been in love with photography since she received her first camera at the age of 5. She earned a BFA in Photography and Art Education from the University of Arkansas and now works as a commerical photographer. As a certified Arkansas Master Naturalist, she’s always finding inspiration in the outdoors. Her work is especially influenced by the dreamy blue tones and botanical magic of Anna Atkins’ cyanotypes, blending art, nature, and a sense of wonder.
